No nugget is too big though! In 2010, we bought the 23.26 kg Ausrox Nugget and paid the prospector within a week of receipt of the nugget. Our aim is to purchase and preserve Australia’s largest nugget in existence.

Prospectors
Contact us first on your return from prospecting. We ask that you carefully clean your nuggets in water only so as to keep them as natural as possible. Please email or SMS us clear photos with a scale such as a ruler, pen or mobile phone to give us an idea of the size. Please also detail the measurements, weight and ideally, the location too. We can then arrange to meet with you as appointments are necessary.
Mining and exploration companies
Ausrox Gold seeks to establish agreements with mining and exploration companies to source, appraise, and market your gold as well as other mineral specimens from your mining and exploration activities. We encourage mining companies to contact us when they discover large lodes of mineralization or spectacular and interesting mineral specimens so that we can purchase the very best of any specimens that you find.
As experienced geologists, we abide by all industrial occupational health and safety standards when visiting tenements and mine sites. Some examples of mineral specimens we acquire other than gold are: copper, silver, nickel mineralisation and their secondary minerals:
